went to japan town.....just thought this structure looked cool that night. don't know what they're called. anyone?

ate at "iroha" restaurant and had their slice beef ramen (called niku, i think). it was pretty good and very filling. i'd give it a thumb and 1/4. did you know that ramen is a japanese dish but it originated in china?

It's a pagoda, right?

A thumb and a quarter? Doesn't your thumb only have one knuckle? In that case, only halves can be given, right? =)

well technically yes, but i'm just doing it to make more of a distinction to how i'll rate them :)

So adding fake nails to give an even higher rating?

the building is a "pagoda." they're usually temples in Japan/China/other parts of Asia. this one in japan town's the "peace pagoda," which i think was partially funded by the mayor at the time.
and mmm... udon...
