ummm.....ummm....

a fews days ago...i tried meditation for the first time. and guess what? it actually works!
it started off with a weird feeling like i was making a fool of myself then next thing i know, i was floating in air...umm...at least in my mind. the teachings too were very interesting. it makes you think bout how you should see life....in a more positive way. it sorta felt like a short escape from the craziness of this world.......love, peace and happiness to everyone :)

lotus

went to my first symphony a few weeks ago...it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. i honestly thought i was going to fall asleep. i actually stayed awake and enjoyed it. it was so neat how some of the performers were so into the songs...so passionate. wow
interesting too how the conductor or the lead soloist leaves the stage then comes back then leaves again then comes back....lol so egotistical huh? jk lol
oh yeah make sure you try to go to the pre-show where they explain what the songs are about coz you don't want to end up like me. there was this one song called the "lotus", when it was being played...it just felt soooo sooooo dark. like a suspense horror movie...my heart was beating really fast...i was gasping for air as i was having trouble breathing because of the intesity of the song...(sigh) but i realized after, that the song was about a plant trying to grow into the world. what a bummer....lol

a weekend in sf

friends came to san francisco to visit...
it was such a nice day despite the typical gloomy rainy weather of sf...
went to japan town to eat lunch and of course ...had to drop by the picture machine thingy....
it turned out pretty cute :)

asia sf

went to a restaurant in the city called asia sf
food was pretty good, the place was fancy, the price was pretty expensive but the experience was priceles....

we had a great time...so what makes this place so unique is that the waitresses are tg's (transgenders/transvestites) that also perform a show while you enjoy your dinner. well...not the whole time but i think at 8pm and 10pm.....not really sure bout the times. but it was a fun experience. atmosphere was very positive and cheerful (maybe because of the alcohol).
i definitely recommend everyone to try it out...just make sure you have enough mullah in your wallet :)
