geishas!! yes they're real and still out there. lol
we saw a bunch of them just walking thru these streets. kinda felt bad for them coz they were probably going about with their regular lives and all these tourists like myself were taking pictures. talk about paparazzi madness...

as we departed japan, we had left this behind at the temple....hope they come true...
overall it was fun to travel to japan. experiencing their culture, eating authentic food (cheap too), seeing all these cool places and things. it was a great experience. it wasn't the relaxing vacation that i hoped for, (sitting on the beach) coz it was exhausting going around, but i'm glad we went.
i had great company so thats all that mattered...

Yeah - Japan pics finally! Sounds like you guys had a really go-go-go sort of vacation. Stressful. Still, you saw lots of interesting things.
Glad you made it back safe and sound. Next time, come on over to Thailand. Much lower key here. And the guys fare as a good as (or better than) the girls, imho.
doumo arigatou gozaimasu :] lovely pictures.
Glad to know you had a wonderful trip. Inside of the blue bucket says "Natural loach", not eel. And the picture below is tea made from Korean carrots. It is more like Chinese thing rather than Japanese, but it looks interesting.(it smells aweful though!).
